Mysterious Symbols.....We acquired some very old photographs of several possibly ancient rings, of which this is one.

On each side there are 4 larger individual symbols plus 4 very small ones and we have no idea of their orgin other than they are very old. In ancient times craftsmen would heat the gold or silver to a point of being quite malleable and then secure the stones with a type of forged "Prong". Rows of stones would indicate a perosns stature...from royality on down.

So there you have it, and what a conversation piece.

This is a very handsome band style with 24 genuine Swarovski Austrian Crystal stones 1.0 cts placed in a two tone yellow and white gold overlay base.
